Head of the Research Group - Composite Materials
Composite Materials Research Group is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of understanding and practical application in the realm of heterogeneous and anisotropic materials. We have a strong focus on both synthetic and natural composites, and our work spans various facets of materials science and engineering. We employ cutting-edge computational and experimental approaches to explore these materials comprehensively.
The group research approach is holistic and covers a diverse range of subjects, including multi-physics modeling and simulation, constitutive modeling, multi-scale modeling, failure analysis and fatigue damage assessment, machine learning integration, and material characterization, all underpinned by an unwavering commitment to sustainability and the efficient utilization of materials and resources.
